Maison et Objet 2011
The MAISON&OBJET trade show took place in France during a five-day period from January 21 through 25, and we participated in it for the first time.
It seems that MAISON&OBJET is increasingly recognized around the world as a venue for creating new trends in home fashion.
The exhibition site was large in area and made up of HALL 1 to HALL 8. It was so huge that we found it difficult to check on all the exhibits even in HALL 6 alone where our booth was located.
Our J STYLE+ booth was set up next to the staircase leading up to the entrance of HALL 6 on the second floor.
We were among the 12 Japanese companies selected for participation in the show.
The lighting in the J STYLE+ booth was a little low, which was good for our lighting products made with seamless three-dimensional washi.
Due to the limited space, we could not exhibit large products. The lampshade in the front is "SPRING," which was designed by Ms. Noriko Hashida.
IFFT2010
We are now only one month away from the end of this year. How quickly time passes!
December is always the busiest time of year.
Last month, we took part in the IFFT/Interior Lifestyle Living trade fair.
Our exhibition booth for this year's event was a very space-conscious one, with its interior space dimly lit.
Shown below is the highlight of this year's exhibit.
They may be indiscernible in the photo taken under poor lighting conditions. These objects are spherical lampshades that are 800 millimeters in diameter.
Some said they looked like the moon, and some said they resembled an egg of a dinosaur. Anyway, the lampshades got a lot of attention.
We thank those of you who came to see our booth at this trade fair.
It is our hope that our exhibit contributed to conveying the appeal of seamless three-dimensional washi.
We intend to post some photos taken with different background colors later to give you more details.
Relaunched our website!
We have renewed our website for our customers and business partners in and out of the country, to enable them to get more information about us and our products.
Maison et Objet2011
As part of its project to support overseas market development by living-related industries, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry conducted a screening of applicants seeking to participate in the MAISON&OBJET trade show.
We passed both the first and second screening stages and earned a berth to the show, which is slated to be held in France from January 21 through 25, 2011.
Our booth, titled "J STYLE+", will be located in the M6-N5 section of Hall 6 and attended by our staff. If you happen to be in France during the period of the show, please come and visit our booth.
